Lavender:

- Relieving asthma symptoms.
- Lessening menopausal hot flushes.
- Promoting hair growth.
Chamomile:
- Treating hay fever.
- Calming inflammation.
- Reducing muscle spasms.
- Treating menstrual disorders.
- Reducing insomnia.
Peony:
- Reducing light pain eg cramps.
- Treating epilepsy and preventing seizures.
- Treating skin rashes due to their antibacterial properties.
- Soothing gastric pain.
- In old cough syrups.
Saint John's Wort:
- Used previously as an antidepressant.
- Treating kidney and lung ailments.
- Aiding menopausal symptoms.
- Treating anxiety.
- Reducing skin conditions such as wounds and bruises.
